About this chart

HSK 2 roughly doubles what you can read. The new characters handle routine situations such as buying things, asking the way, talking about the weather and describing your day, and add more measure words, time expressions and common adjectives.

The characters are grouped into the same sets of 25 used by the flashcards and stroke order pages, so you can print the chart, work through one set at a time, and tick it off as you go.

Cover the pinyin and test yourself, then drill the ones you miss with the HSK 2 character flashcards. To learn to write them, use the HSK 2 practice sheets and the stroke order animations.
